Who We Are
 
Wamic Community Church is a light on a hill to bring people to Jesus Christ and membership in His family; helping them to grow in knowledge, love, and unity to maturity in order to equip them for their ministry in the church and their mission in the world, thereby glorifying God’s name.

What We Believe

* God created the heavens and the earth. (Genesis 1:1)

* Jesus Christ, God’s Son, died for our sins and rose from the dead to live forever. (1 Corinthians 15:1-4)

* The Bible is the inspired Word of God and is the guide for our faith. (Psalms 119:102; 2 Timothy 3:16)

* All are in need of salvation, having sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God. (Romans 3:23)

* Forgiveness of sins and the promise of Eternal Life are available to all who turn to Christ as Lord and Savior. (John 3:16)

* Those who trust in Christ should turn away from sin, confess their faith and be baptized. (Romans 10:9; Acts 2:38)

* The Church is the Body of Christ on earth and exists to save the lost and to help and train the saved for service to God. (Ephesians 4:1-16)

* We are commanded to love God first and our neighbor as God has loved us. (Matthew 22:37-39; John 15:12)

* Jesus Christ is reigning now as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. He will one day return for those who have accepted Him as Lord and Savior.

We are located in Wamic, Oregon in the heart of the Tygh Valley.
